I already want to make these again – I shouldn’t have given them all away. Thanks for sharing. Though they are delicious, they definitely turned out to be more cakey than fudgy. Just waiting for them to cool and we will have them after dinner tonight.

But keep in mind that sugar also adds moisture to baked goods, so while it could lessen the sweetness, it could also alter the texture.Hi Lindsay, I was looking for a non-butter and milk brownie because I was low on those. We felt it was more sweeter may be next time I can reduce the sugar little. He’s gotten some better eating habits since then, but we both still have the massive sweet tooth.He agreed with me that these brownies were the best, hands down. But, after I started mixing by hand, it went smoothly. I’ve tried a lot of different brownie recipes in the past and they never really turned out the way I like brownies. They were fully cooked after that.

I was really surprised because as they were a bit cake-ier than I normally like, I still was satisfied with the fudge-i-ness of them. At 350°, they took almost 40 minutes to bake without being soup in the middle.

They smell lovely and I just added a couple chocolate chips ( Dark chocolate of course) on top. You could try using a smaller pan or doubling the recipe.
